30 Years of Leadership: Lessons Learned from SEA Shell
SEA Shell is celebrating its 30th anniversary. Founded in 1996, SEA Shell — Support, Equality, and Awareness — was one of the first Employee Resource Groups at Shell USA, Inc.
Today, SEA Shell supports LGBTQ+ employees, their families, and colleagues across the US, including a strong Ally community that is engaged and passionate about contributing to the ERG and its 600+ members.
This Roundtable will offer a meaningful opportunity to learn from SEA Shell’s 30-year journey, connect with peer leaders across Chamber Impact Partner companies, and discuss what it takes to build LGBTQ+ B/ERG efforts that are relevant, resilient, and sustainable.
Why You Should Attend
LGBTQ+ B/ERG leaders are doing important work inside companies at a time when inclusion efforts require strategy, resilience, and sustained leadership. This Roundtable is an opportunity to step away from the day-to-day, learn from a long-standing LGBTQ+ ERG with 30 years of experience, and connect with peer leaders who are navigating similar challenges and opportunities.
Whether your B/ERG is well-established or still growing, you’ll leave with practical ideas, peer insight, and renewed energy to strengthen LGBTQ+ inclusion efforts within your company.
Learning Opportunities
Attendees will:
The program will include facilitated discussion, peer exchange, and time for open conversation around the questions, concerns, opportunities, and strategies LGBTQ+ B/ERG leaders are navigating right now.
