2026 LGBTQ+ Workplace Alliance Awards
Nominations are now open for the 2026 LGBTQ+ Workplace Alliance Awards.
The LGBTQ+ Workplace Alliance Awards honor individuals, companies, and organizations making a meaningful impact in cultivating empowering and inclusive workplaces in Houston and beyond.
🕛 DEADLINE EXTENDED: Nominations must be submitted by 11:59 p.m., Friday, October 3, 2026.
Please note that multiple nominations will not weigh the decision during nomination reviews.
GENERAL NOMINATIONS CRITERIA
Please review the criteria below before submitting a nomination.
Eligibility & Membership
- Nominees must be an employee of an Impact Partner in good standing with the Greater Houston LGBTQ+ Chamber of Commerce at the time of nomination.
- Nominations submitted for individuals or organizations that are not current members or partners are not eligible for consideration.
Self-Nominations
- Self-nominations are allowed and encouraged.
Prior Honorees
- Previous LGBTQ+ Workplace Alliance Award recipients are not eligible to win again in the same category.
Nominator Consent & Nominee Participation
- By submitting a nomination, you confirm the nominee is willing to accept the award if selected and can attend the LGBTQ+ Workplace Alliance on Wednesday, November 4, 2026.
- You confirm that the nominee agrees to participate, prior to the event, in photo shoots, interviews, or related activities, as requested.
- If nominee is selected as an award recipient, they will promote the event prior to the event date.
