Whether you are Picasso, Monet, or Paint by Numbers…get your creative juices going and help us decorate the ornaments for the Chamber’s Holiday "Pride Tree" that will stand in the Alley Theatre’s “Deck the Trees” Celebration this holiday season! Decorating supplies will be available but feel free to bring items that express what the holiday and community mean to you. Lite bites and beverages will be provided.

Deck The Trees is a magical celebration that will transport you into a festive world of wonder this holiday season. Mark your calendars for November 17, 2024 – January 1, 2025, as this year’s event promises to be bigger, brighter, and more captivatingly diverse than ever before.  

This is the Alley Theatre's 18th Annual Deck The Trees Celebration. Deck The Trees is an established part of Houston’s annual holiday tradition, with a spectacular display of trees showcased at both Alley Theatre and George R. Brown Convention Center along Avenida de las Americas.

This holiday tradition, drawing in 250,000 visitors annually, celebrates Houston’s arts and culture through a mix of whimsical, cultural, traditional, and eclectic tree designs. The tree exhibition complements the Alley’s yearly holiday classic, A Christmas Carol, on the theatre stage. This year, the event will turn both the Alley and the George R. Brown Convention Center into a joyful wonderland featuring 40 stunning trees and wreaths. Each tree will be artistically adorned by a renowned designer, adding a touch of holiday magic to the atmosphere! Learn more about the celebration here.
