Join us for Families with Pride — a heartwarming celebration where LGBTQ+ families, allies, and friends come together for a morning of fun, connection, and Pride! This family-friendly event will include entertainment, activities for all ages, community resources, and plenty of joy.

Hosted by Council Member Abbie Kamin in partnership with the Greater Houston LGBTQ+ Chamber of Commerce, we invite you to join in the fun. We are teaming up with Chamber Member Discovery Green again this year to celebrate LGBTQ+ families.

This is the third year that the Chamber is partnering with Council Member Kamin to bring this fun event to the community.

WHAT'S IN STORE

This exciting, family-friendly event is dedicated to LGBTQIA+ children, families, and allies as part of Houston's LGBTQ+ History Month festivities in October. And you won't want to miss any of the activities that are planned!

Activities will include lively entertainment, a reading room, children's story time, food trucks, face painting, games, an LGBTQ+ History installation, interactive art projects, all that the Discovery Green® playgrounds and water installations have to offer, and much more! Plus, don't miss the Proud Puppy Party showcasing Houston's proudest four-legged babies!
