Larneka Lavalais is a licensed mental health professional, community advocate, and business owner dedicated to fostering emotional well-being and equity in underserved communities. A lifelong resident of Port Arthur, TX, Larneka is a proud graduate of Abraham Lincoln High School and holds degrees from Lamar University, including:
✔ Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice and Sociology
✔ Master of Science in Applied Criminology
✔ Master of Education in Counseling and Development

As a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), National Certified Counselor (NCC), and Licensed Professional Counselor Supervisor (LPC-S), she provides compassionate and culturally responsive mental health services. She is the owner of Larneka Lavalais LPC, PLLC, where she offers therapy, professional supervision, and consultation. She also serves as a Student Wellness Interventionist in a public school setting, supporting youth mental health.

Larneka is deeply engaged in LGBTQ+ advocacy and community outreach. She is the founder of QTPOC SETX (Queer Trans People of Color Southeast Texas), a support group dedicated to uplifting and providing safe spaces for LGBTQ+ individuals of color. Additionally, she facilitates trauma and grief support groups, ensuring access to healing for those in need.
