Join us afterward for lunch at Chamber member Weights + Measures next door.

If your company is an active Chamber Impact Partner and you lead LGBTQ+ inclusion efforts at your company, join your fellow LGBTQ+ and Ally BRG, ERG, and Affinity Group leaders for this special May LGBTQ+ B/ERG Leadership Roundtable.

Roundtable Topic:

Thinking Strategically for B/ERG Success in Challenging Economic Environments

From tariffs to conflicts to government shutdowns, there are various factors outside your control that are impacting your companies and could impact staffing and budgets in the long term. How can B/ERG leaders think strategically as individuals and as a team, about their groups’ budgets, annual plans, and company-wide inclusion efforts to ensure they are rising to meet the challenging economic environments while also preparing for any uncertainty ahead.

Part 1: “Maximizing your Leadership Potential” - In our first session, Christina Hutchinson, Associate Program Leader, executive leadership and performance coach with Chamber member Mark Kamin & Associates will lead a facilitated discussion on how B/ERG leaders can work together within their companies to rise to meet challenges, anticipate budget cuts or changing resources, and keep focus on the work of inclusion regardless of the challenges coming from every direction.

Part 2: “Maximizing your Chamber Membership” - In our second session, Ryan Wilson, Director of Corporate Relations, will outline the benefits of membership in the Greater Houston LGBTQ+ Chamber of Commerce that many companies overlook and will guide you on ways to work those resources and events into your B/ERG calendars and programming.

Part 3: “Maximizing your Network” - In our final session, we will have a forum for open discussion to ask your peers at other companies how they are navigating challenges and share best practices for LGBTQ+ inclusion efforts in the region.

Special Guest Speaker:
