About Our Experts

Sanna Khoja, M.Ed., LPC

Sanna Khoja, M.Ed., LPC is a professional counselor in Houston, TX. She is an alumna from the University of Houston where she earned her Masters of Education in Counseling; her undergraduate degree was completed at Texas A&M University in College Station, Texas. Sanna currently serves as a Lead Clinician at Ajana Therapy & Clinical Services where she provides individual and group therapy.

Sanna has a diverse clinical background which includes work in psychiatric hospitals, outpatient centers, private practices, autism clinics, a school, & a non-profit agency. She works with adults of all ages who struggle with anxiety and mood-based issues. Some of these include OCD, perfectionism, life transitions, identity, self-esteem, and trauma. Community outreach is a passion of hers; Sanna strives to create therapeutic spaces where people of diverse social identities can gain access to mental health education and healing outside of the therapy room. Learn more about Sanna here.

Kristen Suleman, M.Ed., LPC

Kristen is a native Houstonian and an alumna from the University of Houston where she earned her Masters of Education in Counseling; her undergraduate degree was completed at Texas A&M University in College Station, Texas. Kristen is a Professional Counselor and currently serves as a Lead Clinician at Ajana Therapy & Clinical Services in Houston where she provides individual and group therapy. She also provides community and school-based peer support groups through re:MIND, a non-profit organization.

Following a significant career transition a few years back, (she spent a 5-year-stint in the oil and gas industry before channeling her passions into mental health), she has worked in several therapeutic settings including private practice, psychiatric hospital units, nonprofits, and school systems. Kristen has worked with individuals of all ages, and although she helps with a variety of concerns, she tends to work well with those struggling with anxiety, self-worth, perfectionism, and identity. As a passionate LGBTQ+ ally, she also specializes in working with members of the LGBTQ+ community.

Providing culturally appropriate and trauma-informed care is extremely important to her, and Kristen is currently in the process of becoming a Certified Clinical Trauma Specialist (CCTS). In her own words, in the simplest of terms, she “helps other people deal with life and feel better about themselves.” Learn more about Kristen here.
