You are invited to join the Chamber and other collaborating organizations for the first Pride Forum with Mayoral candidates. On August 1 we will be welcoming candidates running for Houston Mayor to engage in a discussion about LGBTQ+ issues and their related policy positions. This forum is a great opportunity to see where the Mayoral candidate's stand on issues impacting the LGBTQ+ community heading into the municipal election.

The Pride Forum is a non-partisan collaboration between LGBTQ+ organizations designed to engage candidates running for public office in discussions about policy proposals, candidate positions and their impact on the LGBTQ+ community in Houston.

Pride Forum partners include the Houston GLBT Political Caucus, the Transgender Education Network of Texas, Transform Houston, Greater Houston LGBT Chamber, Lambda Next Gen, Outsmart Magazine and Spectrum South.

Date: Thursday, August 1

Time: A social mixer will begin at 6:30 pm and the official Pride Forum program will start at 7:00 pm.
