This June marks 10 years since marriage equality became the law of the land, and Katy FCC is throwing a celebration to remember. Put a Ring on It is a joyful, affirming event where up to 10 queer couples will receive a free wedding—complete with everything you need to say “I do” in style.
Couples will receive...
- A wedding ceremony in our beautifully decorated sanctuary 💒
- Professional photography of your big moment 📸
- A cake and champagne reception for you and up to 25 guests 🎂
- And a chance to win a honeymoon in Costa Rica (lodging covered!), courtesy of Woodlands Pride 🇨🇷

About First Christian Church Katy
FCC Katy is proud to be the only LGBTQ+ affirming church in Katy—and they don’t just say it, they live it. From their founding sponsorship of Katy Pride, to drag events, to their award-winning Transparent Closet for trans and gender-expansive youth, they believe faith and inclusion belong together.
They also host K-Place, a monthly queer support group, and they keep showing up—even when others protest—because they believe love is sacred, justice matters, and everyone deserves a space to belong.
