Show Your Pride: Houston Voices Share Stories of Identity and Belonging
Part of the Show Your Pride campaign, Houstonians share personal reflections on Pride, visibility, allyship, belonging, and community.
What does Pride mean to you?
That's the question at the heart of the Show Your Pride campaign, an annual initiative led by the Greater Houston LGBTQ+ Chamber of Commerce in partnership with photographer and creative director Chandrayee Soneja of Soneja Creative.
Now in its fourth year, the campaign uses powerful portraits and personal stories to celebrate LGBTQ+ visibility, allyship, and belonging. Participants are invited to share what Pride means to them, offering heartfelt reflections on identity, community, resilience, acceptance, and the importance of living authentically.
In this special segment, members of Houston's LGBTQ+ community share their own answers, creating a collective portrait of the many experiences, perspectives, and voices that make up the region's vibrant LGBTQ+ community.
Together, their stories reflect the spirit of the Show Your Pride campaign: a celebration of visibility, connection, and the message that everyone deserves to be seen, valued, and welcomed.
