HOUSTON, TX (May 22 2024) – The Greater Houston LGBTQ+ Chamber of Commerce is proud to collaborate with Chamber Member and Creative Partner, Soneja Creative, for the second year on the Show Your Pride Campaign celebrating Pride Month and the LGBTQ+ community. The campaign will be celebrated at the official launch event on Thursday, May 23 at Lightnin’s Good Times, 1201 Saint Emanuel from 5PM – 7:30PM. The event is sponsored by IKE Smart City.

The Show Your Pride captures, through photography of LGBTQ+ and Allied individuals, the strength, joy, courage inherent in embracing one’s true self or in their support of the LGBTQ+ community. Highlighted with the photos are each person’s three powerful words in response to “What Pride Means to Me.” The Show Your Pride photos are displayed at showyourpride.lgbt.

The campaign will run on the 184 IKE Smart City electronic kiosks across the city during Pride Month. The kiosks in Montrose will include a wrap celebrating the Show Your Pride campaign and Pride Month. In addition, the Houston Dynamo & Houston Dash will highlight the campaign during June on the north side of Shell Energy Stadium. There will be a walking exhibit of the Show Your Pride campaign during the Chamber’s signature Pride Month event, Pride In Business Celebration, on June 7th at the Hilton Americas.

Along with campaign partners, Greater Houston LGBTQ+ Chamber of Commerce and Creative Partner, Soneja Creative, as well as IKE Smart City, other collaboration partners for the 2024 campaign include Council Member Abbie Kamin, Like Minds Communications, Houston Dynamo & Houston Dash and Cosmo Cool Concepts and campaign sponsor, HP. The campaign will proudly be displayed during Pride Month through the efforts of these partners who are committed to celebrating the LGBTQ+ community through this beautiful visibility campaign.
