Chamber Recognized as Favorite Local LGBTQ Community Organization

Readers of OutSmart Magazine recognize Chamber two-years in a row.

HOUSTON, TX (October 1, 2021) – The Chamber is deeply honored to be recognized two years in a row as the Favorite Local LGBTQ Community Organization in the 2021 OutSmart Magazine Readers’ Choice Awards.

Thank you to the readers of OutSmart Magazine for this extraordinary recognition and support of the work and mission of the Greater Houston LGBT Chamber of Commerce. The OutSmart Magazine Readers’ Choice Awards online voting is held annually to recognize organizations and individuals in the LGBTQ+ community in categories ranging from business, community, people, philanthropy and beyond.

The Greater Houston LGBT Chamber promotes economic empowerment for LGBTQ+ and Allied business owners and entrepreneurs and works with leading entities such as the National LGBT Chamber of Commerce (NGLCC), U.S. Small Business Administration and the Texas LGBTQ Chambers of Commerce. The Chamber’s work will continue until the LGBTQ+ community has the equality of opportunity to participate in, contribute to, and benefit from economic opportunities and fully be part of and recognized as part of the economic development ecosystem at all levels of society.
