Chamber Signs MOU with LGBTQ+ Real Estate Alliance

“Collaboration is key to building our collective communities - we can do so much more together.”

HOUSTON, TX (October 4, 2022) – During a cohosted event, the Greater Houston LGBT Chamber of Commerce and LGBTQ+ Real Estate Alliance officially signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between the two organizations, solidifying a commitment to work together to push economic opportunity forward for the LGBTQ+ community in the Greater Houston Region.

The MOU includes key focus areas such as collaboration, promotion, engagement, information exchange, resource sharing and joint programming and events with the goal of connecting members across each organization. Read the MOU here.

Creating connection across these two growing and thriving organizations will drive economic opportunity for LGBTQ+ owned businesses,” said Tammi Wallace, Co-Founder, President & CEO, Greater Houston LGBT Chamber of Commerce. “This partnership is one example of why we included collaboration as a key focus area when we launched the Chamber. Collaborating with other leading LGBTQ+ organizations, like the LGBTQ+ Real Estate Alliance, is integral to ensure we have a seat and voice at the table when it comes to the regional economy.”
