Show Your Pride Visibility Campaign Launches to Celebrate the LGBTQ+ Community

“These are not just photos, they are stories of us.”

HOUSTON, TX (June 12, 2023) – The Greater Houston LGBT Chamber of Commerce is proud to collaborate with Chamber Member, Soneja Creative, on the Show Your Pride Campaign.

The goal of the campaign is to capture, through photography, individuals in the LGBTQ+ and Allied community, including LGBTQ+ businesses, Members, Corporate Partners and more, in Houston and the region. The campaign includes three words for each individual participant answering, "What Pride Means to Me.” The community is invited to participate in the Show Your Pride Official Launch event on Wednesday, June 14.

The Show Your Pride photos are displayed at http://showyourpride.lgbt/.

"The Show Your Pride campaign is an important visibility campaign that is needed now more than ever for the LGBTQ+ community and reflect joy, resiliency and celebration. And this campaign is also an incredible opportunity for the Chamber to lift up and support an LGBTQ+ owned small business.” – Tammi Wallace, Co-Founder, President & CEO, Greater Houston LGBT Chamber of Commerce.

“The Show Your Pride campaign is about enhancing the visibility of the LGBTQ+ community through photos and capturing the essence of Pride in three simple yet important words answering - What Pride Means to Me. My hope is that through photography we can create a meaningful connection with each other. These are not just photos, they are stories of us.” –Chandrayee Soneja, Founder & Creative, Soneja Creative.

As part of the campaign and in partnership with the Chamber, Council Member Abbie Kamin, IKE Smart City and Soneja Creative, the Show Your Pride photos will be displayed on 63 electronic kiosks in various locations across the city. The 14 kiosks in Montrose will be wrapped with the Show Your Pride logo.

This important campaign has come to life during Pride Month because of the strong partnership between the Chamber, Council Member Abbie Kamin, IKE Smart City and the creative, Chandrayee Soneja, with Soneja Creative.

The partnership with Council Member Kamin and IKE Smart City elevates the visibility of the LGBTQ+ community, during Pride Month, with the display of the campaign on the IKE electronic kiosks.
