Statement from the Greater Houston LGBT Chamber on the Passing of Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg
HOUSTON, TX (September 18, 2020) - Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg was a fierce advocate for women and a champion for the LGBTQ+ community. She used her voice for those who could not have a voice. Throughout her career, Justice Ginsburg worked to make the world a fairer and more just place for disenfranchised and marginalized communities.
"Her commitment to justice and her dedication to equality is reflected in her support of the LGBTQ+ community," said Tammi Wallace, Co-Founder and President & CEO. "We are forever indebted to Justice Ginsburg and we honor her service, bravery and legacy to our country." The Greater Houston LGBT Chamber of Commerce extends our condolences to Justice Ginsburg’s family.
